This section is an IT “hall of shame”. Here, I share stories of colossal technology and business process execution failures.
While some companies make it their marketing mission to barrage you with whitepapers, redbooks, blueprints, and other colorfully evocative material to tout their awesomeness, we take it upon ourselves to balance that. We'll call out professionally unacceptable technical, logical, and functional mediocrity in technology service, and we offer you these sometimes entertaining stories as "BlackSheets".℠
The purpose is not to amuse, though. Specific criteria must be met in order for an entry to be noted here. In a spirit of professionalism, I simply share observations and expectations, with the hope that my experiences might prove to be cautionary for other IT professionals traveling the same "path" as I have in my journey.
